The Center for Child Well-Being within the Department of Psychiatry in School of Medicine seeks a Senior Staff Nurse for our team. This position requires an RN or LPN. The ideal candidate is interested in an innovative career aimed at increasing the well-being of children involved in child welfare, foster care and other related child systems across the State of Missouri. This is a truly unique nursing opportunity that allows for daily collaboration with the Center's interdisciplinary team which includes a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist, Pediatrician, and Psychiatric Pharmacist. This program addresses a multitude of physical and mental health issues and works collaboratively with the Missouri Department of Social Services, Children's Division. A nurse with psychiatric patient care experience would be ideal but is not necessary. The ability to engage and build relationships with people over the phone is critical. Work Hours/Shift Shift Type: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related/relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Licensure as required for position. Preferred Qualifications
Credentials: LPN or RN Anticipated Hiring Range
Hiring Range: $25.00 - $36.00 (hourly) Application Materials
