Mansfield Service Partners is looking for a Sales Representative for our Houston, TX location.

The Sales Representative I is responsible for developing and implementing a successful sales strategy which drives volume and margin growth of assigned product lines for both existing and new customers. This role generates unbranded fuel, lubricants, Diesel Exhaust Fluid, and other product lines sales results, and develops and builds lasting relationships with customers and prospects to generate current and future sales growth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops new accounts and implements plans for growth in existing accounts by working in the field 4 days a week, hitting the required amount of daily stops.
  • Meet or exceed sales and DGP budget goals and market plans for all product lines
  • Utilize and maintain CRM weekly for all leads, opportunities, existing and key accounts, and Top 10 Target accounts to include (but not limited to) contact information, activities such as new leads, emails, Badger check ins, meetings, pipeline progression, etc.
  • Obtain new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule by utilizing Badger and our calendar rotation sale methodology within your assigned geography
  • Prepare and present sales presentations that clearly outline our Value Proposition, Technology, QBR/KPI management, Customer Programs and Technical Services.
  • Based on daily field activity, utilize market intelligence to price prospects and customers to maximize unit margins and enhance overall profitability
  • Prepare sales proposal by quoting pricing, credit terms and service offerings to customer based on knowledge of company's operational capacity and established ROI thresholds
  • Complete customer on-boarding documents and implement transition plans at account acquisition through effective collaboration with customer support, equipment, and operations
  • Develop existing and establish new business relationships with current or target customer organizations, including corporate level executives
  • Address relationship problems (credit issues, payment problems, supply outages, etc.) timely and in a way that maintains the relationship while maintaining upholding Mansfield Service Partners standards
  • Utilize PowerBI weekly to understand customer trends and address attrition
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, marketing, and techniques, etc.
  • Prepare for and attend weekly pipeline reviews
  • Establish a monthly cadence to review monitors/ tanks in the field to identify and correct underperforming or overperforming assets to build efficiencies and drive profitability
  • Engage our supply chain and operations monthly to assist in forecasting changes in demand
  • Work within Mansfield with all internal groups to improve the customer experience
  • Embrace and uphold the Mansfield culture and Core Principles

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Must carry auto liability insurance limits of at least $100,000/$300,000/$100,000 and be able to provide a copy of insurance showing the limits being carried, employee as driver of the vehicle, the vehicle covered under the policy, and expiration of the policy.

Knowledge & Experience

  • One (1) - Two (2) years of relevant industry experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
  • Good presentation and formal proposal skills

Work Environment

  • 40-hour work week; 4 days in the field with Friday being an office day
  • Utilize Badger daily for daily sale route optimization
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time outside of market territory
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
