About this opportunity: The Senior Construction Manager for Ericsson Inbuilding is responsible for all technical aspects of the telecommunications equipment deployment and ASP management at assigned job/venues, including, but not limited to: ensuring the appropriateness of the site for deployment; recommending or selecting suppliers; identifying and validating scope items with RF and suppliers; determining and managing the distribution of the equipment and materials necessary for the deployment; managing site access; planning and scheduling the installation and construction of the job/site, including setting project schedules, forecasting, and sequencing of work; monitoring progress and milestones against schedule, including revising and updating project schedules; acting as the Ericsson representative for venue review/approval of supplier deliverables, customer visits, government/customer inspections, and safety issues; conducting audits during build and through construction completion; ensuring completion in accordance with Ericsson and customer standards, evaluating all punch list items and determining if construction is complete and acceptable; monitoring and managing budget; coordinating with and supporting Customer Project Managers; and delegating administrative tasks to support organizations, who provide support to the Senior Construction Manager. The Senior Construction Manager partners with the Remote Construction Manager. What you will do:
- Venue Feasibility and Planning: Conduct feasibility walks with data collection SP, establish venue access, identify scheduling conflicts, verify infrastructure placement using iBwave software, and develop mitigation plans for construction roadblocks.
- Project Scope and Execution: Analyze and develop SOW and BOM, collaborate with RF design teams to meet customer requirements, manage project execution, and recommend revisions as needed.
- In-Building Deployment Expertise: Evaluate venue suitability and scope, prepare reports, address material deficiencies, and manage construction schedules to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Safety and Compliance Oversight: Perform EHS audits, ensure adherence to Ericsson and industry safety standards, assess site feasibility, and continuously monitor safety practices.
- Collaboration and Reporting: Partner with construction managers to resolve supplier issues, prepare production and quality reports, and present status updates to stakeholders.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to ASPs, RCMs, and crews, offering performance feedback for evaluations and fostering continuous improvement.
- RF Design Integration and Assistance: Work closely with RF design teams to provide insights, assist in identifying optimal RF component locations, and perform additional tasks as assigned to support project success.

- Planning, Organization, and Consultation: Demonstrates strong planning, organization, and consultative skills with effective cross-functional team communication.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of iBwave software, Anritsu, ODTR fiber testing, Microsoft Office, databases like Site Tracker, Ericsson data tools, and close-out processes.
- Industry Standards and Safety Compliance: Familiarity with Ericsson and industry best practices, EHS standards, regulatory issues, and having completed an OSHA 30-hour course.
- Educational and Professional Background: Minimum of 7+ years of related industry experience, with a bachelor's degree preferred, and completion of technology/trade coursework in in-building RAN systems.
- Design Solutions and RF Collaboration: Experience in providing design solutions, working with RF to optimize solutions, and consulting on site feasibility and design.
- Venue and Construction Management: Direct knowledge of working in large and small venues, managing general contractors, estimating construction scope, and understanding troubleshooting practices.
- Site Acquisition and Compliance: Understanding of site acquisition, zoning, permitting, landlord negotiations, leasing laws, jurisdictional requirements, and environmental compliance.
- Customer and Stakeholder Interaction: Ability to interface with customers, property owners, internal and external personnel, with field experience in managing construction and familiarity with Ericsson equipment.

Your Pay The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience. * New York: $114,800-150,675 Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents. Your Financial Security We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson matches $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date.
