In addition to a standard benefits package, this role may be eligible for additional contingent compensation based on an array of factors, including but not limited to: work performance, geographic location, work experience, education, and qualifications. Our Transactional Healthcare Team is seeking to hire a mid-level associate to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to join Nixon Peabody's national corporate and health care practices, which have received numerous national and regional rankings, including by Chambers USA, Legal 500, and U.S. News/Best Law Firms. The ideal candidate will have approximately three to four years of experience working on mergers and acquisitions and other business transactions, including those involving health care companies and organizations, and a broad knowledge of general corporate law to work on matters in the areas of emerging companies and venture capital. Experience with healthcare and/or life sciences transactions a plus, although this team also does significant work outside of healthcare. Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials, superb judgment and communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent client services.
