Hours & Pay:

Pay Range: $95,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Position Overview:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll play a lead role in the development and enhancement of electrical systems for advanced crane technologies. From initial concept through final testing, you'll oversee moderately complex projects and collaborate cross-functionally to drive real-world innovation. You'll be hands-on with embedded system design, I/O modules, 3D modeling, CAN messaging structures, and data analysis-while also supporting product documentation, testing, and manufacturing alignment.

This role reports to the Senior Manager of Engineering and offers exposure to diverse challenges across product design, testing, production support, and system integration. Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the design and documentation of electrical circuits, embedded systems, and I/O modules
  • Develop concepts, layouts, performance analyses, and specifications
  • Interface with internal departments to ensure cohesive product development
  • Manage production and service support, ensuring safety and compliance
  • Maintain engineering documentation and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate logistics and test planning, including some domestic travel (up to 10%)

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering design
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Pro/E, Creo preferred)
  • Familiarity with analog/digital inputs, PWM outputs, and I/O modules
  • Strong working knowledge of volt/current meters, oscilloscopes, and DAQ systems
  • Proficiency with CAN messaging structures and tools like PCAN
  • Strong communication, time management, and analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally



Work Environment & Physical Expectations:

This is a hybrid office/plant role requiring periodic time on job sites. Candidates must be comfortable with limited lifting (up to 25 lbs), standing, and exposure to varied weather conditions during site visits.
