Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic AI Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves supporting the sales of NetApp's AI solutions, especially in high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) projects. The ideal candidate will assist in advising customers on AI/ML (machine learning) and DL (deep learning) technologies. You will work with account teams, partners, and customers to help deliver solutions that support AI project timelines and business goals.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Support: Assist in the sales of NetApp AI solutions within assigned accounts or territories. Help manage the sales process from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Customer Interaction: Help identify and engage potential customers who can benefit from NetApp's AI offerings. Learn to explain how NetApp solutions improve performance, productivity, and data protection.
  • Solution Presentation: Support the creation of business use cases for partners and customers, showing the benefits of AI/ML/DL adoption in various industries (e.g., Public Sector, EDA, Energy, Media).
  • Team Collaboration: Work with NetApp's internal teams (sales, field engineers, product managers) to gather customer feedback and assist in creating customized programs. Collaborate with account teams and technology partners.
  • Campaign Participation: Participate in AI/ML sales campaigns with sales and field teams, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Learning and Development: Stay informed about trends in AI technologies, cloud-based AI deployments, and competitive landscapes to effectively support NetApp's positioning.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years in business development, sales, or customer engagement within the IT sector.
  • Some experience with AI/ML/DL projects or HPC solutions is a plus.
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales processes is beneficial.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of AI/ML/DL infrastructures, including storage, compute, and data pipeline management. Knowledge of cloud computing and cloud-based AI/ML/DL services is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong business sense and the ability to understand customer needs.
  • Ability to build and maintain business relationships with key stakeholders.
Education

Typically requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 114,750 - 148,500. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings' (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's). These offerings are subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. We will provide detailed information about the specific benefits for your region during the recruitment process.
