Program Specialist - Undergraduate Clinical Placements

The University of New Mexico College of Nursing (CON) is seeking a Program Specialist to provide day-to-day specialized programmatic and administrative support to the Office of Clinical Placements. The Program Specialist, in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Placements, will work to meet the clinical education demands of the college.

The College of Nursing has experienced tremendous growth over the past ten years and this will continue. As we look forward, our 10-year strategic plan will emphasize the continued increased scaling of our programs as well growing the College's clinical enterprise to meet the critical healthcare demands across the state.

The Program Specialist will lead a dedicated team in supporting the clinical placement needs of our learners. The position is essential to helping advance the CON's mission of improving access to health care for all New Mexicans including clinical experiences in rural and/or underserved communities. This position will oversee the Undergraduate arm of clinical placement operations by coordinating the placement of students statewide to provide experiential clinical opportunities for learners from multiple paths to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
