Description Piedmont Service Group has been providing HVAC services to clients in NC, SC, and VA since 1971! Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (with a 1-hour lunch break). This position sometimes requires work outside normal work schedule hours. There is minimal opportunity for routine overtime. This position covers a variety of tasks including:
- Routine maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment and systems.
- Responding to reactive work order type assignments (e.g. exhaust fan not working, unit down, etc.) involving troubleshooting and possible repair.
- Root cause analysis of equipment failures in mechanical systems and control components
- Ability to troubleshoot with or without guidance and resolve complex issues with a variety of infrastructure systems (i.e. DX equipment, Exhaust Fans, ERV's, etc.)
- Daily interaction with clients (internal and external)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- May work on several projects at one time
- Perform routine maintenance on systems without direction
Requirements Position Requirements include:
- Minimum 3 years in the HVAC industry
- Demonstrated ability to quickly develop root cause analysis of failures
