LABOR'S PERMANENT LABOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
Senior New Product Development/Design to Value Engineer, Hill Phoenix, Inc., Keosauqua, IA: Responsible for Design to Value, overall product cost, and materials & labor for SPY built cases. Act as engineering liaison between SPY & DIIC design services. Mentor junior team members. Manage Design to Value projects from concept to completion. Oversee the development of CAD solid models and engineering simulation of proposed concepts. Develop a test plan and work with the Engineering Lab to validate the solution. Conduct field tests to validate the solution. Brainstorm cost savings on existing products. Develop a portfolio of specialty refrigerated merchandisers. Manage the New Product Development project from concept to completion, including scheduling, deliverables, and delegation of tasks. Collaborate with Product Management to define the product market specification for new products. Oversee the development of CAD solid models and engineering simulation of proposed concepts. Develop a test plan and work with the Engineering Lab to validate the solution. Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, $102,611.00 to $112,611.00 per year. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in Structural Analysis.
