PSD Shift Leader (SL), Kuwait ** Contingent Upon Award** WPS Protection/Guard

Overview

A PSD Shift Leader (equivalent of Executive Security Detail [ESD]) leads, directs and supervises the PSD/ESD team of guards performing internal security services. He/she is directly responsible to the Operations Center Chief at the designated installation and acts as guard force leader.

Responsibilities

1. The PSD Shift Leader is required to pass an annual Physical Ability Test per AR 190-56.
2. The PSD Shift Leader ensures that all assigned personnel, are properly trained, equipped, briefed, and mentally and physically prepared to perform PSD/ESD.
3. The PSD Shift Leader shall ensure that all guard personnel are aware of and abide by all post and general orders.
4. The PSD Shift Leader will supervise groups of guards or specific sectors or functions of the guard program for the site or complex to which assigned.
5. The PSD Shift Leader demonstrate a fluency in English equivalency of a level 2+ based on the Interagency Language Roundtable.

Qualifications

1. U.S. Citizen - must have and maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance
2. Must possess experience of not less than ten (10) year's total, with at least 4 years of Military background with honorable discharge, and the remaining can be either military, police, and/or PSC
3. Prior experience as officer, warrant officer or senior non-commissioned officer with at least three (3) years of experience at the paygrade of (E7 [NATO Code OR-7] or higher) or team leader in armed forces, police, or private security company in a contingency area
4. Must have demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite software to include Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word, and Internet Explorer
