Job Description

Salary Range$41,040-$51,300

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Responsible for overseeing all farm operations.
  • Ensure that birdsare grown per Foster Farms policy and that eggs are gathered and handled properly to assure optimum hatch.
  • Chicken house environmental adjustments.
  • Collection and proper handling of eggs.
  • Collection and proper disposal of daily mortality.
  • Operation of tractors and equipment for the cleaning of chicken houses and farm maintenance.
  • Set up and placement of birds.
  • Preparation for ship out of birds.
  • Safety and environmental compliance.
  • Management of farm labor.
  • Responsible for breeder performance, quality and production.
  • Controlling and maintaining bird health.
  • Monitoring all ranch functions.
  • Coordinate all ranch functions, which includes accurate completion of all records, egg gathering/handling.
  • Excellent communication skills with higher authority.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of successful poultry management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong mechanical skills are preferred.
  • Maintain compliance to company programs, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Maintain good employer, and employee relations.
  • REquired to reside in the onstie company dwelling.
