Team Lead - Inside Sales - Northwest (Washington State)

Position Summary:

Provides sales administration and support to the ProAV customers by providing information about orders, inventory, shipping status, returns, pricing, and technical product details to integrators, resellers and Sales team to enable order placement through passive sales process.

What you will do in this role:

Order Processing and Follow Up
  • Process orders in AS 400
  • Confirm margin on order and check for hidden margin
  • Provide order confirmation, using template or other sales approved template)
  • Confirm inventory stock on warehouse and drop ship orders
  • Submit part builds
  • Confirm payment terms and request credit card form if needed
  • Process sideways orders
  • Process cancellation requests
  • Work with the warehouse on order changes
  • Upload purchase orders to F20

Returns and Credit Requests
  • Follow up with credit team on time-sensitive orders
  • Review MN 19 screen and update F8 notes
  • Provide tracking and ETA information to customer
  • Work with logistics on shipping issues

Freight Quotes
  • Submit freight quote requests through UPS website or Operations department (may involve domestic or international parcel or freight quote requests)

General Inside Sales Support
  • Primary point of contact and responsible for building long-term relationships with outside sales representatives and/or customer, responding to requests for basic quotes, questions, open issues that require follow-up, bid registrations and updates and Salesforce quotes. Have basic working knowledge of ProAV business and specific projects to foster sales process
  • Mentor and train team members on best practices for territory and team
  • Act as key point of contact for questions and escalations on order entry, issues with delivery and customer dispute resolutions
  • Authorize up to $500.00 in credit for freight or customer service related issues
  • Work with Inside Sales Manager and Director on training issues within team, escalating before issue becomes a bigger problem
  • Coordinate coverage with Manager and Director when Sales and/or Inside Sales members are out of the office


Qualifications

What we look for in a candidate:
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • 1-2 years related experience
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite
  • Problem-solving ability and ability to think on your feet-- understand unique situations and circumstances and apply Almo policies to identify and communicate decision
  • Strong verbal communication skills that demonstrates confidence
  • Service orientation and mindset to support sales team and drive long term, trusting relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously/multi-task
  • May require minimal travel annually (two weeks/year) with Outside salesforce, attend E4 or other trade shows and National Sales Meeting.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY:
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
