POSITION TITLE: Senior Vice President, Business Development

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

POSITION OVERVIEW:

ADB is seeking a Senior Vice President, Business Development to consult with strategic-level customers and partners to identify, develop, and win opportunities. This role is primarily customer-facing and promotes the organization to achieve defined sales goals. The Senior Vice President of Business Development is a key partner in ADB's Business Development operations with expert ability to forecast business, develop long-term strategic plans and drive results. The ideal candidate will have a strong belief in the safety and well-being of team members, as well as a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Independently and proactively grows enterprise and strategic customers with the ability to fully own and maintain those accounts to achieve business objectives
  • Responsible for supporting, managing, and growing existing partnerships and high-potential growth prospects
  • Have a strong understanding of the telecommunications industry and its functionality to effectively communicate proposal details and answer client questions
  • Perform advanced data analytics to determine market growth opportunities with existing accounts and can turn those opportunities into closed deals
  • Update opportunities and related account information in the organization's CRM system to ensure accurate and consistent data in real time
  • Partners with Senior Leadership to develop and execute on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and scorecard goals to meet revenue goals
  • Expert ability to lead presentations, workshops, and consulting sessions with customers and partners in a professional and engaging way at all levels of an organization
  • Represent the organization in the best possible light, maintaining optimism and championing successful outcomes for the organization and its partners
  • Mentors less experienced sales members on the team and provides guidance when needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership

WORK ENVIRONMENT:



  • Corporate headquarters is located at: 18777 US Highway 66, Pacific, MO 63069
  • This position operates out of a temperature-controlled office environment
  • This position may be required to use standard office equipment such as phones, computers, printers, etc.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:



  • 15+ years of Business Development experience with proven results of growing new and existing customers and contributing to overall business revenue goals within the telecommunications, utility and technology industries required
  • 5+ years of experience at a large-scale, enterprise organization strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Sales, Communications, Marketing or related field preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Driver's License required


The starting pay for this position is $130,000.00 and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
