Position Type : Full timeType Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education)Education Desired : Bachelor of Computer ScienceJob Description FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Operations Software Analyst Seniors in Jacksonville, FL to provide technical support activities for a production processing environment. Install, maintain, and support applications and major IT system components, subsystems. Customize specific IT operations management software or creation of custom FIS-proprietary solutions specific to the operational management and control of IT infrastructure, application delivery components and network telecommunications fault, configuration, administration, performance, and security functions. Analyze and resolve problems related to failures in application and ancillary software components. Provide technical assistance to Operations, Systems Support, and Application Support staff. Create and maintain complete documentation as it relates to installation and status of supported software and FIS-proprietary solutions. Work closely with clients and business partners to understand business and technology requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with FIS architectural standards. Analyze business and technical requirements; translate those requirements into product designs. Develop programming logic for new technology solutions. Code, test, debug, document, implement, integrate and maintain supporting application components for IT operations management software. Suggest technical alternatives and improves/streamlines processes and systems. Complete project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations. Plan, analyze and forecast activities to plan projects and tasks. May provide leadership and/or guidance to other technical professionals. Communicate system architecture to technical and business audiences. Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation. Educate internal users on software capabilities and use. May specialize in management and support of IT event correlation and analysis software; participate in selection and deployment of technology solutions, infrastructure components, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations in support of business needs; provide technical and leadership support of disaster recovery/business continuity plans. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: performing team lead duties including serving as technical escalation point for team to prioritize and address customer issues; implementing Command line mastery of Operating Systems with Windows and Linux; working with scripting languages including python and PowerShell; utilizing networking, routing, Load balancers, and VPNs; working with communication protocols including FTP, SFTP, SSL, and HTTPS; utilizing monitoring tools including CA UIM, Thousand Eyes, APM, and SCAPM; performing source control with Artifactory, SVN, GIT, and Bitbucket; implementing configuration management with Ansible and Puppet; working with Jenkins and Kubernetes automation tools; utilizing Splunk and Greylog logging and monitoring tools; performing security administration with SSH and TLS; utilizing Oracle, SQL DBMS suites; working with J2EE platform and architecture, including messaging and integration points; providing java support with Tomcat, Weblogic, and Apache; and implementing ITIL practices with Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery.
