Industrial Site Superintendent
Childress, TX Contract- end of year, could be extended Pay: $85K-$115K Key Responsibilities: * Oversee all on-site construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols * Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews to maintain smooth workflow and productivity * Collaborate with client-hired trades and partners to drive project progress and resolve field issues * Enforce site safety standards rigorously including mandatory completion of daily Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) before any work begins * Conduct daily site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with contract documents * Monitor and maintain the project schedule; adjust tasks and sequencing to meet deadlines * Lead regular on-site coordination meetings to review progress, address challenges, and align on scheduling * Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to guide on-site work * Ensure thorough documentation, including daily field reports, safety records, and site logs * Identify potential risks, delays, or issues and promptly report them to the project management team * Oversee site logistics: materials delivery, equipment management, and site access control * Champion quality control standards to ensure workmanship meets company and client expectations * Support project closeout activities, including punch list completion and final inspections * Provide required documentation and updates to both the project management and Health & Safety (HSE) teams Qualifications: * Minimum 5 years of construction experience, including 2+ years as a Site Superintendent on industrial projects * Willingness to travel and remain on-site for the duration of assigned projects * Experience working on data center construction sites is a strong plus * Deep knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and field execution * Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and project plans * Familiarity with construction management software is a plus * Able to work in varying outdoor weather conditions * Physically capable of standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs as required * Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 12 months, with a clean driving record free from major violations After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
