This opportunity is with our Deployment Solutions Commercial Division, which partner's with top-tier pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology companies to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that deliver increased demand across the product portfolio. The Dental Schools Account Manager will be responsible for managing the relationships with key dental and dental hygiene academic institutions.
You Will:
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in Dental Schools programs
  • Interact with a broad set of academic professionals and students, to understand their dental/dental hygiene programs. The expectation is to achieve continuous annual growth in the number of schools enrolled in the Schools Essentials program.
  • Segment and analyze assigned customers and prioritize workload based on timelines.
  • Develop educational resources, product messaging and relevant data to students and educators, supporting their understanding of the product portfolio. Product messaging to be delivered to students and educators via in-person or virtual lunch and learns.
  • Operate daily in a cross functional matrix by partnering with Sales Representatives, District Managers and National Sales Director and Sales and Marketing teams
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on appropriate messaging and resources for students and educators

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:
  • Bachelor's degree required. Dental related degree is preferred
  • 3+ years' experience in Commercial Biotech/Pharma required, (Dental academia experience preferred)
  • Successful experience calling on Dental Schools and Hygiene Schools
  • Successful experience calling on Dentists and Dental Hygienists
  • Dental Sales and/or Dental or Hygiene Educator experience and existing relationships in the market are preferred
  • Understanding of the practice skills and knowledge of Dental Program Directors, Dental Professors and Dental Students
  • Strong understanding of dental curriculum development and implementation to create comprehensive educational presentations that align with the needs of each Schools program
  • In-depth knowledge of the dental industry
  • Ability to travel up to 30% including overnight and/or weekend travel
