How You'll Perform the Role

The Production Manager will manage and support Converting night shift Supervision and Production teams, assisting with planning, directing and coordinating production activities.




  • The Production Manager is accountable for inspiring and executing strategies which achieve optimum safety, quality, service, productivity, and profitability.
  • Advance initiatives that promote and sustain the safety, health, security, and welfare of all employees.
  • Maintain safe, clean, orderly and environmentally compliant production operations.
  • Inclusive oversight of all production and production support activities of the facility ensuring all are conducted in accordance with Company policies, principles, procedures, values, and standards.
  • Perpetually assess current strategies, systems, procedures, performance, capabilities, equipment, facilities, and employees for opportunities to optimize safety, flow, service, quality, and profitability.


What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of experience.
  • 5-plus years' experience working in manufacturing sites.
  • Maintain and post shift score cards.
  • Daily GEMBA, audits for Standard Work, Housekeeping and Roll Scanning.
  • Experience managing, coaching, and mentoring others.
  • Assist with shift completion of SABA safety training.
  • When needed, support shift supervisor on the floor to improve uptime.
  • Proven knowledge of production processes, and experience in bag making environment, preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the willingness and ability to learn new systems.
  • Willing and able to work overtime as needed.
