Responsibilities:


  • Lead the day-to-day administration, communication and implementation of HR policies and programs at the assigned manufacturing plant(s)
  • Objectively coach employees and management through routine and complex employee relations matters
  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies, programs, and activities designed to enhance an environment that drives maximum individual and team success
  • Accurately process hourly and salary payroll per company process
  • Lead recruiting efforts for all hourly associate positions, partnering with corporate Talent Acquisition on salaried roles
  • Counsel Managers and employees to be consistent with FXI policies and processes
  • Facilitate change management initiatives and partner with the leadership team to effectively communicate business strategies, goals, values, and performance expectations



Qualifications:


  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Bachelor's degree, minimum 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prefer previous work experience in a manufacturing union environment with HRIS exposure; preferably ADP.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, primarily Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must possess ability to handle highly confidential matters and work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment with minimal supervision.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Proven ability to prioritize rapidly; strong problem-solving skills; excellent decision making/analysis skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; the proven ability to develop and leverage relationships with a remote employee population.
  • The ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results and to manage multiple priorities and the ability to be flexible, self-directed, motivated, and able to interact with employees at all levels.
