Overview:

Sentara Obici Hospital, located in Suffolk, Virginia, is hiring a Full Time Radiology Technologist to join our Team!

In this role you conduct general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician. You also perform Radiology Tech I responsibilities with addition of one of the following: Fluoroscopy or based in hospital/standing ED.

Position Available

  • Full-Time, 36 hours per week
  • Rotating Days, Evenings, Nights
  • On Call every 6 - 7 weekends and evening shift and night shift a couple of times per month
  • Will rotate between the Advanced Imaging Center and Sentara Obici Hospital
  • We are growing, and this is a newly created position for accommodating walk-in patients. We are opening at the end of summer 2025!
  • Interviews will be conducted in the Radiology Department at Sentara Obici Hospital. The Advanced Imaging Center is on campus.

Education

  • Trade School Graduate

Certification/Licensure

  • ARRT
  • BLS

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 - 12 months of sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems.
