About the role

As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll be supporting the customer's installation of FIS software to ensure that it runs efficiently and continues deliver quality results that advance the way we pay, bank and invest. You'll workaspartofateaminascrumsettingand must be aself- motivated,proactive,andout-of-the-boxthinker.

This role is hybrid. (3 days in office, 2 days virtual)

About the team

The team works on several clients around the globe. We also support cloud-based installations of our FIS software. We monitor and repair the client systems, batch job and do minor enhancements as necessary.

What you will be doing

• Coding

• Testing

• Transitioning

• Planning

• Troubleshooting

• Problem solving

• Estimating and Scheduling

Identifying strategies as well as improvement opportunities while also reengineering processes for greater efficiency.

Selecting hardware, software and vendors.

Conducting tests to ensure changes made by programmers are correct.

What you will need

3 - 5 years of experience.

• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

• Oracle Forms and Reports.

• Compass Software Background. (preferred but not necessary)

• Good Troubleshooting skills.

• Knowledge of Bit Bucket or GIT Source code management tools.

• Be able to pass a background check. (Federal)

Ready to work:

• On Weekends for release and major deployments.

• Provide Night batch support on a rotating basis.

• Afterhours work (Outside Night Batch rotation) as needed.

Knowledge of financial services industry and an understanding of end-to-end systems development life cycles.

A bachelor's in computer science or information systems or equivalent experience - master's degree is desirable.
