Position Summary:

The Warehouse Shipping Picker will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely shipment of finished goods to customers, as well as assisting with other warehouse duties as needed. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and package finished goods for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer requirements.
2. Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary shipping documents.
3. Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickup and delivery of shipments.
4. Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring quality and quantity accuracy.
5. Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking information and proof of delivery.
6. Assist in inventory management, including conducting cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
7. May be required to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, following safety protocols. Must drive a stand-up forklift.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, including keeping aisles clear and materials properly stored.
9. Collaborate with other warehouse team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
10. Assist with other warehouse duties, such as receiving, stocking, and order picking, as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping role preferred.
3. Familiarity with shipping processes, including knowledge of different shipping methods and carriers.
4. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in using shipping software and Microsoft Suite.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
6. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
7. Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment safely.
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills
9. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
