* Base Pay Range: $59,322 - $96,762 per year, based on experience
The Application Developer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of applications to improve the interoperability of existing systems within the organizational environment. The Application Developer utilizes innovative, user-centered solutions to enhance the daily operations of healthcare organization users. DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION Designs, develops, implements, and maintains websites and web applications using web technologies and Agile methodologies. Develops and sustains technical solutions to support HR solutions across the organization. Develops and maintains database and mapping specifications for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Manages multiple projects with timelines and keeps stakeholders informed of project status. Collaborates with designers, product managers, and developers to create user-friendly and responsive web applications. Writes clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Troubleshoots and debugs issues to ensure optimal performance. Stays up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development. Participates in code reviews and provides constructive feedback to peers. Ensures the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Optimizes applications for maximum speed and scalability. Develops and maintains comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and system documentation. May complete unit/department-specific duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired. One (1) year of experience in custom web development or a related field. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
