We are looking for someone with hands on experience with electrical circuit design.

  • Uses trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills to resolve electrical issues.
  • Communicates with stakeholders to refine customer requirements.
  • Assist in wiring and troubleshooting prototype and first article product releases.
  • Creates and maintains electrical CAD drawings in Zuken and / or Solid Works Electrical.
  • Creates Bill of Materials (BOM) for the electrical elements of the vehicle build.
  • Investigates and implements cost reductions.
  • Creates product assembly and configuration documentation.
  • Trains manufacturing personnel in electrical assembly.
  • Creates and reviews engineering change notifications.
  • Vehicle Programming & diagnostic testing.
  • Build and Design Wire Harness.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
  • This is not an exhaustive list of duties or all the "essential functions" for this job.
Requirements
  • Electrical Technology A.A.S Degree or higher.
  • Minimum 2 years of vehicle design experience or industry experience as an Electrical Technologist.
  • Can cable from 1 module to another, J1939 Connector and PLC ladder logic. Know Body & Engine control module. Experience with Alan Bradley products.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Highly analytical problem-solver with demonstrated talent for identifying, understanding, and creating workable solutions.
  • Motivated self-starter with high level of initiative and ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • CAD drawings in Zuken and/or Solid Works Electrical.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Need demonstrable experience in manufacturing and engineering with vehicle experience.
  • This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. Must be able to lift and/or move items over 25 pounds.
