The Role

Our Communication, Media and Technology group is looking for a Sr. Consulting Manager to join our journey. We're looking for someone who is has consulting experience in the Network domain.

The Consulting Manager role requires a seasoned professional with 12 to 15 years of experience ideally with domain expertise in Networks. The position involves a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel requirements. The candidate will drive strategic consulting projects ensuring impactful solutions that align with company goals and societal benefits.

We're looking for Senior Consulting Managers who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Sr. Consulting Manager (Senior Manager level position) this means leading a team of Consultants through a client-facing engagement, managing escalations, and serving as a the owner of a workstream; maintaining expertise in your domain; meaningfully contributing to the sales process through a mix of RPI development, client presentations, financial modeling, pricing strategy, and flawless delivery; creating service offerings and/or client partner training materials; and contributing to PeopleCare initiatives, recruiting, and mentoring. Responsibilities

  • Lead consulting projects focused on network solutions ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry standards.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans that enhance network performance and reliability.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on optimizing network infrastructure for improved efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive consulting services that address complex network challenges.
  • Analyze client requirements and design tailored solutions that meet their specific needs and expectations.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to empower clients with knowledge and skills for effective network management.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of high-quality consulting services.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions that drive business growth.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their long-term goals and provide ongoing support.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all consulting engagements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and impact of consulting services.
  • Utilize data analytics to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Support the company's mission by delivering solutions that contribute to societal advancement and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong background in network technologies and solutions with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • The track record and experience to achieve the above, which includes ideally 8+ years of management consulting experience, where at least 2 of those (though ideally 4+) have been Digital technology (business or technical consultative) team lead experience
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex network issues.
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
  • Have a deep understanding of industry regulations and standards related to network management.
  • Show proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques to derive meaningful insights.
  • Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest technological advancements.
  • Hold a relevant degree in computer science information technology or a related field.

Certifications Required

* Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
