Job Description Summary

#TeamAAM is looking for a Coordinator Planning/Scheduling to join our Driveline team in Three Rivers, Michigan. This is a fully onsite role.

The Coordinator Planning/Scheduling manages day-to-day customer and supplier scheduling activities to ensure compliance to schedules. They also maintain PFEP inventory target levels to provide a flow of raw materials and components from the supply chain to the Three Rivers Manufacturing Facility.

The ideal candidate for this role has outstanding organizational and communication skills. Oracle experience is preferred. Prior experience working in a union environment is also preferred.

Job Description

  • Supervises Planning & Scheduling associates through training, coaching and mentoring; communicates job expectations; appraises job performance; audits and ensures adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Meets scheduling operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implements production scheduling and customer-service policies and procedures; resolves problems; identifies system improvements.
  • Achieves inventory target goals by establishing and controlling production and scheduling requirements.
  • Coordinates directly with production to drive compliance to production operating plans.
  • Builds relationships with trading partners.
  • Helps resolve critical supply or delivery issues and elevates to management.
  • Monitors supplier scorecard and assists with poor performing supplier improvement plans.
  • Manages capacity constraints, partnering with Sales and Purchasing to address and resolve issues; elevates to management as required.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or relevant experience.
  • 3-5+ years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in planning and scheduling.
