Summary:

The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the HR Business Partner function by supporting the implementation of HR strategies, processes, and programs to support the organization's goals. This role requires a proactive and collaborative approach, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR partnership. This role will have the unique opportunity to act as a key connection point between key business leaders, and the HR team.

  • Collaborates with HRBPs to execute HR initiatives, including talent management,

  • employee relations, and organizational development strategies.

  • Addresses employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support in line with company policies and procedures.

  • Assists in the documentation, communication, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures across the organization.

  • Support the onboarding process for Support Center new hires and manage offboarding activities for departing employees.

  • Maintains HR volume and KPI metrics and HRIS data audits, providing insights and reports to the HRBP team to aid decision-making.

  • Ensures adherence to employment laws and regulations, contributing to compliance initiatives as needed.

  • Partners with other HR functions, such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Payroll, to ensure seamless HR service delivery.

  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements within the HRBP function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate range of $35 to $43 per hour.

    Minimum Requirements

    Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs)

    • The combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or related field, and a minimum of two years of previous HR Generalist experience.

    • Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.

    • Proficiency in HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Preferred education and experience

    • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

    • Proactive and adaptable, with a problem-solving mindset.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Dayforce experience

    • SHRM-CP or PHR certification.

    Work environment:

    This hybrid position will be a combination of remote and onsite at the Trident Support Center office in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, WA. Our hybrid work environment includes remote work on Monday and Friday and in-office in the Support Center on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

    In-office time takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. While remote, employees must provide appropriate home office space.

    Physical demands:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
