The Role

Our Energy & Utilities Consulting group is looking for a Consulting Manager to join our journey.

We're looking for Consulting Manager who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Consulting Manager (which is a Manager level position) this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues. In addition to enabling consulting excellence through the Five Pillars of Consulting, the specific requirements for this position are below.

Key Responsibilities:

* Requirement gathering: Gather and analyze requirements and features, create conceptual solutions, and produce key outputs such as As-Is and To-Be Business Processes, Use Cases, Logical Data Models, Scenarios, Business Rules, Non-Functional Requirements, and Data Quality Requirements.

* Digital transformation projects: Define business process flows, new system requirements, and capabilities.

* Requirement elicitation: Work with client stakeholders to gather, manage, and prioritize the product backlog.

* Client interaction: Act as a bridge between engineering scrum teams and the business team, ensuring clear communication and understanding.

* Consulting engagements: Lead a team of Consultants, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.

* Collaboration: Work closely with Architecture, UX, and Engineering Teams to support and share knowledge of functional and non-functional requirements.

* Business process understanding: Demonstrate a deep understanding of business processes and emerging business trends.

* Energy & Utilities expertise: Ability to speak the language of Energy & Utilities Subject Matter Experts and Product Managers.

* Problem-solving: Thrive in unknown territories of business problems, create hypotheses, and set the direction.

* Technical skills: Strong analytical and technical skills, with an understanding of emerging Energy & Utilities technologies.

Required Qualifications:

* Extensive experience in the Energy & Utilities industry

* Ability to lead teams and converse with business leads

* Conduct in-depth Market research

* Data analysis

Required Education: Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or Management degree strongly preferred

Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until May 23rd, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,450.00 - $129,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
