Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP SD Functional Architect who will be catering to North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned SAP SD Functional Architect to lead the design and implementation of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) solutions across Brazil and LATAM. This role is pivotal in optimizing standard order-to-cash processes and ensuring seamless integration within a dynamic, multinational environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP SD, a strong understanding of regional business practices, and a proven track record in the automotive and industrial manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end design and deployment of SAP SD solutions tailored to Brazil and LATAM business requirements.
  • Drive optimization of standard order-to-cash processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
  • Configure and customize SAP SD modules to align with business goals and industry best practices.
  • Analyze current systems and processes to identify improvement opportunities and implement enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP SD processes and configurations.
  • Deliver training and support end-users to ensure effective adoption of SAP functionalities.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure business continuity.
  • Ensure SAP SD implementations comply with local regulations and global standards.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance SAP SD capabilities.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders, aligning SAP solutions with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with SAP SD, particularly in Brazil and LATAM implementations.
  • Deep understanding of standard order-to-cash processes within SAP.
  • Proven experience in the automotive and industrial manufacturing industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on SAP configuration and optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in conducting user training and maintaining process documentation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to SAP SD in LATAM.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP certification in SD module is a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $138,000 - $162,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
