Job description:

The Sr. Talend Developer role requires a seasoned professional with 5 to 10 years of experience in ETL processes and data integration specifically within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain. The candidate will leverage their expertise in tools like Talend and PL/SQL to enhance data warehousing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ETL processes using Talend ETL to optimize data integration workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration across systems
• Utilize PL/SQL for efficient database management and data warehousing solutions
• Administrate Talend Administration Centre to maintain and enhance ETL operations
• Apply scheduling basics to manage and automate data processing tasks effectively
• Oversee the use of external schedulers to streamline data operations and improve efficiency
• Design and maintain Unix Shell Scripts for automation and process improvement
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ETL and data integration issues
• Implement best practices for data warehousing concepts to enhance system performance
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored data solutions
• Monitor and optimize SQL queries for improved database performance. Qualifications
• Possess strong expertise in External Scheduler and PL/SQL for efficient data management
• Demonstrate proficiency in Data Warehousing Concepts and Talend Administration Centre
• Have solid experience in Scheduling Basics and ETL processes
• Exhibit advanced skills in SQL and Data Integration techniques
• Show proficiency in TALEND ETL and Unix Shell Scripting
• Have domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance
• Be fluent in English for effective communication and documentation.

The annual salary for this position is between $[86,000 - 120 ,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
