Job Overview:

The Senior Director of Business Analytics is responsible for leading the company's data-driven decision-making efforts by overseeing business intelligence, data analytics, and performance reporting. This role will drive strategic insights that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep analytical expertise, and a strategic mindset to support business objectives.

A Day in the Life of the Sr. Director, Business Analytics:



  • Strategic Leadership & Business Insights:

    • Develop and execute the company's business analytics and reporting strategy to support customer and revenue growth.
    • Provide executive leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations to inform key business decisions.
    • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve data utilization across marketing, sales, finance, and customer care.
    • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities by analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and market data.


  • Data Analytics & Business Intelligence:

    • Oversee the development of dashboards, reports, and predictive models to optimize customer and revenue performance.
    • Leverage advanced analytics to enhance forecasting, customer analysis, and revenue optimization.
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms.
    • Collaborate with Data Warehouse and IT teams to enhance data infrastructure and reporting capabilities.


  • Leadership & Team Development:

    • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts / business intelligence professionals.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration within the analytics team.
    • Align analytics team priorities with overall business goals and ensure timely execution of key initiatives.


  • Process Optimization & Performance Measurement:

    • Establish standardized reporting processes and performance measurement frameworks across departments.
    • Support pricing strategies, customer retention efforts, and product development with deep analytical insights.
    • Actively support, promote and advance all aspects of Astound's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) goals and initiatives, recognizing it as a business priority, including creating a work environment where all employees feel valued, respected, heard and empowered to do their best work.
    • Other duties as assigned.





What You Bring to the Table:



  • 10+ years of experience in business analytics, data analytics, or business intelligence, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Telecommunications industry experience preferred.
  • Expertise in analytics tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, and data warehousing solutions.
  • Strong understanding of statistical modeling, forecasting, and AI-driven analytics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights



Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).

Base Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 annually plus opportunities for bonus and benefits. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
