Job Description
To coordinate and manage all warehousing functions relating to product movement into and out of Westrock Coffee's warehouses.
Job Duties:


  • Oversee Westrock's Main, Ramdin, Commercial Park warehousing, shipping and receiving functions.
  • Develop and manage programs to ensure the effective operation and utilization of all models of warehousing.
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring SQF/Security guidelines and protocols.
  • Control inventory movement to ensure actual matches perpetual.
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Manage 3 shift operations, supervisors, and 75+ hourly employees.
  • Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and monitoring key performance indicators.
  • Develop and implement cost reduction plans, process improvement, and Lean initiatives.
  • Maintain a productive warehousing staff by creating programs for training, evaluating and professional development.
  • Serve as warehouse liaison on committees such as Quality Council, Corporate Safety Committee, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


  • BA/BS preferred. Associate's degree, or eight to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 5+ years warehouse management experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Management experience with emphasis on staffing, organizing, motivating, developing supervising and communicating.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret analyses in support of decisions.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows, email and Internet.
  • Ability to interact with individuals from diverse levels within a corporation and to provide excellent customer service.
  • A proven aggressive self-starter that can stay organized and focused in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
