JOB MISSION:

The Global Brand Operations Associate Project Manager (Sport) oversees the project management of global marketing deliverables for Sport categories including American Football, Klutch Athletics, Basketball, Tennis, Baseball, and Global Football. In alignment with GTM processes and to support commercialization of Sport categories, this role will develop and standardize tools that streamline execution of strategic development, productions, and all global and regional activations. They will also centralize communications and serve as the point of contact for global and regional cross-functional teams. This role is responsible for planning annual calendars, creating workback schedules and setting priorities accordingly, regularly reporting on progress and escalating any potential risks.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABIILTIES:

  • Serve as key point of contact for creating, managing, and optimizing Sport projects in Asana, ensuring seamless coordination, prioritization, and execution across teams and stakeholders
  • Identify needs and create tools (i.e., Playbooks, Training Videos plan) that scale across all teams and ensure elevated deliveries of premium content with clear activation guidance
  • Develop cadence for and manage all Sport communications to cross-functional teams including updates on deliveries, timelines, and new initiatives
  • Track and monitor seasonal projects progress against established timelines, proactively identifying potential risks and communicating up to ensure timely resolutions
  • Create marketing calendars and coordinate workback schedules that dictate downstream efforts (i.e., If/Win moments, recurring event activations)
  • Oversee the Category's digital asset management (DAM) tool, ensuring efficient organization, storage, and easy retrieval and discovery of digital assets
  • Collaborate across a team of project managers to establish operational excellence within Global Marketing

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in project management, and/or marketing operations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies, tools (i.e., Asana), and techniques, and proven success in facilitating delivery of projects on time.
  • Understanding of project life cycles, from initiation to completion, and ability to develop and execute comprehensive project plans.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, external agencies, and regional partners.
  • Proven ability to facilitate meetings, ensuring clear and transparent communication with cross-functional and leadership teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analytical skills to identify and mitigate project risks and make informed decisions efficiently.
  • Interest in Sport and contributing to the evolution of a growing function
  • Embodies a growth mindset; self-motivated, accepts new challenges, and continuously capitalizes on opportunities for improvement.
  • Skilled in Asana Project Management Software, or something similar, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint

Flexible Work Schedule

Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year.
