Compensation

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $94160 - $124762. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C's annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

Are you passionate about recruiting top talent? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to work closely with our talent acquisition team. As a Strategic Talent Outreach Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. This position involves sourcing and recruiting specific functions within the talent acquisition department and collaborating with various client groups across the company to identify the best talent to support business needs. The role requires strategic planning and a deep understanding of talent acquisition trends and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform candidate sourcing and research activities through the development and execution of research and sourcing strategies and plans, ensuring an optimal experience for potential candidates, stakeholders, and talent acquisition teammates
* Implement targeted sourcing efforts, social media utilization, and innovative outreach programs to attract and retain diverse talent
* Maintain strong pipeline of diverse candidates for key roles
* Monitor and track metrics aligned to recruitment efforts, evaluating the effectiveness of sourcing strategy
* Effectively articulate a compelling value proposition and business strategy to both prospects and candidates
* Cultivate relationships with external talent for current and future opportunities
* Network closely within the industry and functional areas to identify the right talent and companies to target
* Representing S&C across a broad spectrum of stakeholders from high school student pipeline programs to C-level leadership community engagement.
* Identify and articulate the qualifications, strengths, and opportunities of candidates to both recruiting teammates and hiring managers

* Leverage a variety of sourcing methods, techniques, and technologies, inclusive of social media, leveraging Boolean searches to scan through publicly accessible code repositories, etc.
* Implement key strategies and partnerships to include, but not limited to professional associations, technology and diversity recruitment conferences, community outreach programs and events, industry networking events and associations, etc.
* Create target lists of companies and individuals for active and future openings
* Research target companies to develop lists of individuals (names / titles) as a match for active & future roles through utilizing industry directories, social media, complex internet searches, diversity resources, internal networking, resume databases, direct sourcing, industry research, external networking events, blogs, associations, and career events
* Fully leverage technology for optimal talent relationship management utilizing campaign management, lead tracking, and to identify and continuously engage with leads, referrals, and other potential prospects
* Attend staff meetings, business meetings, townhall events with recruitment partners and hiring teams
* Recruit candidates for assigned requisitions, conduct thorough screenings, evaluate potential candidates for interest, qualifications, and compensation, and attract elusive passive talent by understanding the business and employee value proposition.

What you'll Need To Succeed:

* BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience
* Strong experience in sourcing or recruiting candidates with heavy emphasis on research, sourcing, recruitment and/or other relevant experience / transferrable job skills
* Knowledge of the recruitment lifecycle, inclusive of Boolean and/or Semantic searching, data mining, professional networking, passive candidate cold calling and innovative sourcing techniques
* Experience identifying, cultivating, and maintaining productive partnerships with community organizations.
* Knowledge of and demonstrated adherence to EEO / OFCCP compliance
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, including verbal and written
* Strong curiosity, creativity, and a drive to succeed
* Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail
* Resourceful, with exceptional problem-solving skills
* Ability to maintain confidential information
* Demonstrated reporting and analytic skills
* Strong work ethic and sense of personal accountability
* Experience contacting high-potential prospects through targeted cold calling
* Experience in a role where multiple projects and competing demands are the norm
* Demonstrated experience developing strong, collaboration relationships with teammates, stakeholders, candidates, and customers in ever-changing environment

* Knowledge of ORC or other applicant tracking systems
* Experience in a highly transformational environment
* Experience in consulting and/or working in a consultative role where multiple projects and competing demands are the norm
