Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the development of innovative electrical systems and circuit designs. This position will be working on electrical designs in our detector and column manager liquid chromatography modules. The role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge analog and mixed-signal PCB designs, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.



Responsibilities

    Lead electrical engineering efforts for product development projects from concept to production.
  • Design advanced analog and mixed-signal circuits for printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Perform detailed circuit analysis and validation.
  • Conduct hands-on testing using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and emulators.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving EMI/EMC issues
  • Collaborate with layout engineers to optimize board designs.
  • Ensure electrical designs meet functional, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Align design practices across teams by coordinating with other electrical engineers within Agile groups.
  • Conduct and participate in design reviews, ensuring technical excellence and compliance.
  • Present project updates including design status, cost estimates, and timelines during project meetings.
  • Support design transfer to manufacturing and assist in troubleshooting production issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in electrical engineering.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and technical development.


Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
    • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
  • Experience & Skills:
    • 7+ years of experience designing analog and/or mixed-signal circuits
    • Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout software (Mentor Graphics preferred)
