About the Position The Operations Process Improvement Manager will support Court Operations teams with various complex technology projects and process improvement initiatives. This role will serve as a liaison between Court Operations, DTI, and software vendors, ensuring seamless collaboration to identify and implement technology-driven solutions that improve workflows and enhance efficiency. The Operations Project Manager will collaborate with Supervisors, Managers, and the Administrator to analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive initiatives that streamline and optimize operations. Using data-driven insights, this position will lead projects from initial identification through planning, analysis, implementation, and completion, ensuring successful outcomes that align with organizational goals. We Require
- Two years of professional analytical experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or related field
- Additional years of business or financial analytical experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis
We Also Value
- Familiarity with Court Case Management Systems and Document Management Applications
- Process experience with Court Operations
- Extensive understanding of Lean or Agile methodologies, managing process improvements
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
- Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP)
- Agile or Scrum Certification
Job Contributions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather process-related information and ensure accurate representation in process models
- Analyze existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction
- Identify bottlenecks and operational gaps, and propose strategic recommendations for process optimization and control implementation
- Leverage automation solutions to eliminate manual processes, improve accuracy, and efficiency
- Effectively manage projects from inception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes
- Collaborate with the technology team to implement technical and reporting enhancements
- Overseeing the introduction and integration of new processing software to enhance operational effectiveness
- Conduct in-depth analysis and present quantitative and qualitative data to inform business decisions
- Work closely with executive management, managers, and cross-functional teams to achieve the company's strategic objectives
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT to ensure process improvements are technically feasible and aligned with business goals
- Monitor and measure the impact of process changes to ensure desired outcomes are achieved
Working Conditions
- Position requires travel to and from job-related locations during the course of a scheduled workday, subject to County policies regarding use of County vehicles and/or private vehicles used on County business
- Job duties are performed mostly in an office setting that consists of a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- Requires long periods of sitting while completing computer activities
