Post Doctoral Scholar

Responsibilities Include:

• Performs basic or applied research in tumor metabolism and oncogenic signaling pathways with the goal of developing novel therapies for cancer treatment.

• Learns and utilizes new techniques.

• Conceptualizes and executes complex laboratory experiments across a variety of fields from cancer biology to immunology to neuroscience to transcriptomics.

• Plans and tests experimental designs and analytical methods.

• Develops and establishes research controls and standards.

• Research includes animal models (mouse).

• Plans, executes and independently manages research activities with the goal of producing publications in quality cancer research journals.

• Writes and prepares manuscripts for publication and presents at national conferences.

Minimum Qualifications:

• PhD in biological sciences, neuroscience, or immunology required.

• Cancer Biology and cancer metabolism experience preferred.

Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
