They work with cutting-edge equipment, document thoroughly, and navigate systems like EPIC, Radiant and PACS with confidence. If you're looking for a supportive, growth-oriented environment where your skills are valued and your work matters, Salem Health is the place for you.What you'll doPerforming Diagnostic Imaging: Select appropriate radiation exposure settings based on the patient's body type and condition. Capture high-quality images, tailoring exams to meet the specific needs of each patient.Patient-Centered Care: Document thorough and relevant patient histories, including symptoms and onset. Provide compassionate care while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently. Perform routine care, identify malfunctions, and report issues to ensure minimal downtime.Technology & Documentation: Utilize Radiant Radiology, EPIC, and PACS systems for imaging requests, documentation, and charge entry. Follow ALARA principles and departmental safety guidelines.Team Flexibility: Support the care team by assisting with various tasks such as clerical duties, patient calls, order protocols, phlebotomy, rooming, POC testing, and medication administration as needed.Required qualificationsGraduated from an accredited radiologic technology program.Licensed with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in Radiography.Total rewards packageSalem Health's comprehensive benefits package prioritizes your mental and physical health, financial stability, family obligations and professional growth.
