Salary: $150,000-$160,000/yearly

Other Forms of Compensation: Bonus Plan Eligible.

Join CulinArt Group as a Multi-Unit District Manager Leader

Are you a strategic, people-focused leader passionate about operational excellence? CulinArt Group - a proud member of Compass Group USA, is hiring a District Manager (DM) to oversee multiple dining accounts across the corporate and education sectors in Northern California.

In this role, you'll lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, drive financial results, and ensure service excellence across your district. You'll work closely with senior leaders and clients to align operations with company goals, community values, and industry standards.

Ideal candidates should reside in or be willing to relocate to San Jose, Oakland, or San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support Resident District Managers and Directors of Dining Services

  • Build strong client relationships and ensure contract compliance

  • Oversee financial performance, including forecasting and budgeting

  • Drive team development, performance evaluations, and succession planning

  • Ensure food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance

  • Represent the company at client and community events

  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance teams on proposals and renewals

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or five (5) years progressive experience in multi-unit food service, hospitality management,
  • Strong background in a leadership role with exposure to contract/budget management, customer service, people development, food services, negotiations, etc.
  • Has a consistent track record and knowledge of growing a business, along with proven business and financial proficiencies.
  • Has the ability to think quickly, analytically, strategically, and accurately
  • Shows expert client relationship, influencing, presentation, listening, and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Champions the inclusive approach, and is proactive, positive, professional, flexible, and resilient
  • Demonstrates initiative, ownership, multitasking, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite
  • Currently resides in or be willing to relocate to San Jose, Oakland, or San Francisco, CA.
  • Extensive travel throughout Northern California is required in this position
