Director of A & E Program, NAM. This position requires an experienced and knowledgeable industry professional who excels in driving demand within the A & E community, their end-user clients, and associated channel partners to serve the needs of the client and their multiple on-going projects while promoting and selling HID Global solutions. This role requires having strong relationships within the A & E community, strategic end-users, distributors, and service providers. This role requires possessing the ability to coordinate with internal and external resources to support the demands and needs required to increase sales and market share through the A & E community. This person shall serve as the voice of the customer on behalf of the A & E community and work closely with senior leaders within HID Global to implement internal sales direction and business strategy objectives. This role is responsible for leading and managing the regional A & E business development managers and working closely with other HID Global sales teams to seamlessly support the HID Global business strategy objectives. Additionally, this role will require close collaboration with ASSA ABLOY DSS (Door Security Solutions group) to better enhance mutual strategies and collaboration efforts between the groups to align in successes.

As our Director of AE Program, you'll support HID's successby:



  • Developing relationships by meeting with, presenting, educating, and supporting the A & E community which includes security consultants, engineers, and specifiers.
  • Providing sales coordination efforts with targeted end-users and channel partners as the A & E requires.
  • Creating new business development opportunities through the A & E community and their associated End Users and/or projects with new and enhanced sales opportunities for HID Global.
  • Helping with conducting and coordinating A & E involved end-user projects and/or job meetings, proof of concepts, and to collaborate efforts with HID Global associated teams for support.
  • Increasing sales and market share through the A & E community and keep record of activity and successes by reporting monthly the number of sales calls and project involvement.
  • Functioning as the liaison between HID PACS and ASSA ABLOY DSS to enhance collaboration and strategy efforts for mutual successes.



YourExperienceand Background include:



  • Must have a minimum of 10 years sales/Business development experience in Physical Access Control.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years selling experience to the A & E community specializing in Physical Access Control.
  • Experienced professional must demonstrate consultative selling style and technique to high level decision makers.
  • Must be initiative-taking/self-starting requiring minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to sell and work individually and in a team selling environment and communicate and collaborate within the organization on a continual basis.
  • Demonstrate project management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and follow through skills.
  • Eligible to become or is a member of the ASIS (American Society of Industrial Security).
  • Ability to travel 50% or as required to properly support the role effectively.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At HID, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

The base salary in the United States is $135,000 to $145,000. The OTE is up to $242,000.
