Job Description

Oversees the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new and existing products. Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs. Acts as liaison with engineering in releasing new products. Develops systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

A ME Program Manager of Smart Manufacturing, would be a leader responsible for implementing and overseeing the use of advanced technologies and data analytics to improve manufacturing processes, optimize operations, and enhance factory efficiency. You will work hybrid from Twinsburg, OH.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a smart manufacturing strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals and global manufacturing strategy roadmap.
  • Collaborates on the selection, implementation, and integration of smart manufacturing technologies, such as IoT, AI, machine learning, and automation. Fills the critical role between manufacturing engineering, digital manufacturing, manufacturing strategy and operations.
  • Manage and analyze data from factory operations to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. Leverages deep technical knowledge to automate and augment processes to deliver sustainable KPI improvements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of smart manufacturing engineers, technicians, and other professionals.
  • Work with other departments, such as manufacturing engineering, IT, digital manufacturing, manufacturing strategy and operations, to ensure seamless integration of smart manufacturing technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in smart manufacturing technologies and best practices.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • The ability to travel 20% of the time.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • 8+ years of leadership experience
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing
  • Proven experience in manufacturing, automation, and/or smart manufacturing technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, automation, IoT and other advanced technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in project management and program management.
  • PMP Certification
