Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Finished Goods Handler to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA on Weekend Night Shift.

As a Finished Goods Handler this candidate will be responsible to move product, pull orders, load trailers and coordinate trailer movement with local and outlying facilities. This position works Friday - Sunday 5:25PM-5:25AM.

Key Responsibilities



  • Primary transporter, loader and unloader of bulk, finished product associated with the new robotics area.
  • Helps prepare robot for production and makes adjustments as necessary for schedule.
  • Assists in shrink wrapping responsibilities of all items within plant 3. (Repack and Non-Repack)
  • Will be asked to assist in relief of dumpers and other forklift operators within Plant 3.
  • Communicates production issues and opportunities to immediate supervisor.
  • Must be forklift certified, or have ability to become forklift certified.
  • Uses printers to place appropriate codes and prices on bags, labels, and cases.
  • Programs, troubleshoots, and makes adjustments on robot to ensure efficiency.
  • Routinely checks bags for correct weight, code date, price, and bag integrity.
  • Completes all manufacturing paperwork and data entry in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Operates, communicates and is proficient in Redzone.
  • Operates, communicates and is able to develop skills within our new D365 software system.
  • Ability to cross train and learn other finished good responsibilities here at Plant 3.
  • Requires working proactively in a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people.
  • Responsible to follow all safety rules and work safely at all times.
  • Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.
  • Must adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices.
