Job Title: Proposal Coordinator

SUMMARY
Agile Defense is seeking a Proposal Coordinator with proven experience supporting proposal-related ativities throughout all phases of business capture and proposal processes. The Proposal Coordinator plays an integral role supporting our Growth Team priorities ensuring quality, compliance, and timeliness. The successful candidate will report to the VP, Proposal Development, and contribute at every step in the business capture process including providing support to the Federal Civilian and Department of Defense (DoD) Business Development teams, Pricing Team, and Operation Directors and project teams. This position will support all types of response efforts.
As a Proposal Coordinator and member of our Growth Team, you will play a pivotal role in the development of high-quality proposals from start to finish and work in partnership with our Growth team and technical staff to prepare compliant, on-time responses.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assisting opportunity Proposal Manager and assuming many Proposal Manager duties as appropriate.
* Maintaining the proposal checklist and ensuring full implementation of all tasks.
* Monitoring the schedule and communicating with subcontractors, authors, and reviewers.
* Helping facilitate kickoff and all review meetings, as appropriate.
* Using and compiling the administrative checklist.
* Ensuring review copies and final submissions go out on time-coordinating with publications, as needed.
* Ensuring implementation of all quality checks (format, grammar, consistency, and message).
* Ensuring appropriate filing of electronic and hardcopy files.
* Other duties and inititaves as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Background, and Years of Experience
* Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, or similar degree
* Required 1-3 years' experience working in Government contracting proposal environment.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills
* Experience with FAR-based proposal responses
* Excellent written and spoken communication, time management, social awareness, attention to detail, critical and analytical thinking, problem solving
* Ability to set schedules for proposal and presentation efforts, assign and oversee the completion of tasks, and keep team on schedule
* Ability to work successfully with minimal oversight
* Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously while maintaining quality of deliverables
* Expert proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Exce), Adobe Pro, Teams, and SharePoint
* Ability to adhere to process and standards
Preferred Skills
* Ability to serve as Book Boss responsible for content and managing team contributors - establishing compliant response structure, providing instruction/direction, conducting reviews, and managing to a final, compliant product.
* SharePoint administration proficiency

Environmental Conditions
* Headquarters sire 2-3 days/week with 0-10% travel
* Extended hours as needed per projects timeline
Strength Demands
* Light - 20 lbs. Maximum lifting with frequent lift/carry up to 10 lbs. A job is light if less lifting is involved but significant walking/standing is done or if done mostly sitting but requires push/pull on arm or leg controls.
