Salesforce is seeking a transformational executive with exceptional interpersonal skills to assume the role of SVP & Global Chief Operating Officer (COO) for our SMB Operating Unit. This leader must demonstrate a proven ability to navigate and influence a matrixed environment through strategic negotiation and collaboration, while driving insights, problem-solving, and optimizing execution to achieve business objectives. Reporting to the Global EVP of SMB & Emerging Products, this leader will design and implement a comprehensive operational framework that aligns stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Additionally, they will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing SMB operations, driving innovation and transformation to globalize, scale, and realize the future-state strategy. Lead, coordinate, and scale the execution of Product-Led Growth initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, and Distribution. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the end-to-end business, aligning operations to strengthen customer connections and drive business success. Strategic Planning - Provide visionary leadership to advise and structure key initiatives, identify core themes, develop risk mitigation plans, and connect opportunities across functional areas. Identify opportunities, strategies, and process improvements while managing priority lists to achieve long-term growth and profitability. Ensure the operational plan is executed within agreed-upon budgets and timelines. Transformation - Lead and oversee high-priority projects and analysis, driving impactful change. Manage operational cadence from design to governance, ensuring smooth execution at every stage. Develop and present compelling presentations that communicate the past, present, and future of the Global SMB Operating Unit. Continuous Improvement - Deliver strategic assessments and operational reviews of both new and existing business ventures, providing actionable insights through meaningful reporting. Act as the OU leader's proxy in key meetings, such as QBR preparation, All Hands Calls, Quarterly Team Calls, Staff Agenda/Minutes, resource planning, and budget forecasting. Scalability - Ensure that people, processes, and systems are designed to scale for long-term growth. Drive consensus and secure internal approvals to move initiatives forward. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $345,000 to $445,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
