*Description*
Sr. IT QA Automation Engineer/Analyst will be an analytical resource focusing on highly visible, complex and critical quality and testing priorities. Subject matter expert for quality and testing methodologies and efficiencies to include foresight into technology and risk/compliance requirements, all geared towards IT and business solutions. Forecasts and establishes QA/Test plans for defining, delivering, enabling and supporting significant information technology components into the organization architecture. Executes on the organizational automation road map to improve test coverage and delivery timelines. Principle Responsibilities: *Serves as a QA/Test resource, capable of working on multiple projects and priorities across business lines and IT platforms. *Coaches and mentors less experienced QA analysts and collaborates with other IT teams. *Capable of providing oversight and guidance of offshore testers to ensure test validation tasks are successfully completed in accordance with project and release timelines. *Develops, provides input and/or modifies processes to resolve complex testing and quality process issues to include environment assessments and translation of requirements. *Reviews, formulates, defines and oversees system and project QA scope and objectives based on quality assurance and testing standards. *Provides level consulting services to internal IT and business groups on Quality Assurance and testing deliverables. *Proficient in interpersonal skills to establish productive, efficient and goal-oriented partnerships with QA peers, other IT disciplines and the business. *Understands benefits and drives utilization of common tools and automation. *Adheres to and supports all organizational and IT policies and procedures regarding software development and project management. *Accumulates and provides a thorough understanding of business systems, technology, risk, compliance and process requirements, considering relevance of technology to both current and future environments. *Understands benefits and drives utilization of common tools and automation. *Other duties as assigned. *Skills* Financial Services experience, Python BDD, Selenium, Test Automation, Writing automation scripts, Python, QA Lead, Automation *Top Skills Details* Financial Services experience, Python BDD, Selenium, Test Automation, Writing automation scripts *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: *Bachelor's Degree, equivalent or higher in a directly related field. *6+ years of professional IT or related experience, with significant QA/testing experience. *Proficient in the area of test automation. *Excellent verbal and written communication to include preparing and presenting Test strategy to varied audiences. *Detail-orientated and proficient in reviewing overall scope. *Ability to work effectively managing multiple priorities. *Proven competency at providing insight and input to all IT teams to increase efficiency and improve standards; established problem-solving skills. *Capable of working independently and collaborating with the offshore teams. *Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile SDLC. *Experience in formulating test strategy for large scale projects. *Ability to conduct defect triage meetings and manage defect resolution. *Experience in formulating a UAT plan and orchestrating UAT with the business users and software vendors. *Strong SQL scripting skills. *Experience testing in AWS or Azure cloud environments is highly desirable. *Experience working with Quality Assurance tools and automation framework development using Test Complete and Selenium. *Experience developing Behavior Driven Testing frameworks a plus. *Insurance, Annuity or other Financial Services industry experience a plus. *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
