DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will deliver expert repair services for vehicles and equipment, ensuring that all department vehicles and maintenance tools are restored and refinished to enhance their longevity. Your duties will involve addressing rust and damage on automotive equipment, employing techniques such as welding, brazing, soldering, and the application of epoxy or fiberglass. Additionally, you will mix paints, operate a spray gun, and apply finishes to the equipment while also maintaining and cleaning the necessary tools. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Shift hours and days vary due to seasonal requirements, with a 30-minute lunch
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of semiskilled experience in automotive body repair and painting in a commercial operation; or
- Completion of a high school vocational-technical program in automotive body repair from an accredited vocational trade school; or
- Completion of a post-secondary curriculum in automotive body repair from an accredited technical school.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license.
- This position is required to either possess at the time of hire, or obtain within the probationary period, an active CFC-12 Refrigerant Recycling Certificate or a 134A Refrigerant Recycling Certificate.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
