Quality Engineer III

Under limited supervision, the Sr. Quality Engineer interfaces with key, strategic accounts, leads sitelevel quality systems, process controls and continuous improvement for ISO 9001 certified singleuse assembly operations. The role may serve as subjectmatter expert during audits, validations and new product introductions. The role may conduct quality assurance tests and performs statistical analysis to assess the level of control and manages product quality risks. Serves as a resource for less experienced engineers.

What we're looking for:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a natural/life science field with knowledge and experience in one of the following areas: medical device, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) preferred.

Experience:

  • 5-7years' experience in quality engineering/assurance within medical device, biotech or regulated manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated expertise with rootcause analysis, QMS/ERP systems, statistical analysis and ISO 9001 requirements
  • Proven leadership in complex quality projects; strong communication and technical writing skills.

  • Lead complex root-cause investigations, risk assessments and corrective actions using lean tools and statistical methods.
  • Responsible for driving QMS elements: CAPA, customer complaints, and SCAR
  • Drive change and continuous improvement
  • Provide Quality representation for key initiatives and strategic accounts
  • Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators, present trends in Tier meetings and management review to key stakeholders.
  • Establishing Quality Scorecards and reports for strategic accounts
