Under limited supervision, define processes, technical infrastructure and architectural standards for development and implementation of systems at the enterprise level.

Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Systems Architect to join our team and focus on defining processes, technical infrastructure, and architectural standards for the development and implementation of systems at the enterprise level. This role is essential for evaluating products and projects to ensure alignment with strategic initiatives and industry trends, particularly focusing on the Planview product suite. The Senior Systems Architect will provide leadership and guidance to less experienced team members and perform other duties as assigned.

This role is critical in ensuring that our enterprise systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with our strategic goals. Essential Functions

Strategic Evaluation:

  • Evaluate products and projects to ensure congruency with strategic initiatives and industry trends.

Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Mentor development of those in less senior positions.

System Design & Architecture:

  • Define and establish architectural standards and frameworks for enterprise systems.
  • Design and implement scalable and robust system architectures that meet business requirements.

Planview Development & Customization:

  • Design, develop, and implement custom solutions within the Planview platform to meet business requirements and improve portfolio management processes.
  • Customize Planview features, including dashboards, reports, and workflows, to align with organizational needs and objectives.

Technical Infrastructure:

  • Develop and maintain technical infrastructure to support system implementations and integrations.
  • Ensure that technical solutions are aligned with organizational goals and compliant with industry standards.

System Integration:

  • Integrate Planview with other enterprise systems and tools to ensure seamless data exchange and process automation.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and integration points to support effective data flow and system interoperability.

Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide technical support for Planview users, addressing and resolving issues related to system functionality and data accuracy.
  • Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and user satisfaction.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards within Planview to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze system usage and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

Documentation & Training:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, customizations, and integrations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of Planview and its features.

Collaboration & Project Management:

  • Work closely with product owners, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver solutions on time and within budget.
  • Participate in project planning and contribute to the development of technical solutions and project documentation.

Additional Duties:

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
  • Strong understanding of Planview Portfolios architecture, features, and customization capabilities.
  • Experience with SQL, data integration, and system administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's Degree, computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training.

Minimum Experience

  • Requires five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment.

Domicile Information: This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
