National Grid is hiring an Associate Coordinator for our Syracuse, NY location. This is a hybrid position, working 2-3 days in the office each week.

The Role

This role is crucial for maintaining the highest level of accuracy and data integrity within our systems.

What You'll Do
  • Enter electrical assets and their attributes into Cascade (CMMS). Electrical assets could range from protective relaying, control, EMS/RTU, telecom, metering, batteries, circuit breakers, disconnects, and others.
  • Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and clarify any discrepancies.
  • Work diligently to meet deadlines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to company and divisional standards.
  • Assist in monitoring the Cascade Outlook inbox to manage equipment changes and additions promptly.
  • Maintain a hyper focus on data quality
  • Request and follow through with data inquiries
  • Build relationships and collaborate effectively within the Cascade team and with our Operations and Engineering partners
  • Add and modify data in Cascade to ensure equipment adheres to Protection & Telecomm Operations (PTO) and Substation Maintenance Standards (SMS) and Substations Maintenance Procedures (SMP.)
  • Perform administrative duties such as data entry, word processing, and generating reports as needed.
About You
  • Associate degree required
  • Proven accurate data entry experience required
  • Comfortable working in and with web-based applications required
  • High degree of accuracy and accountability to project goals
  • Strong detail-orientation and multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills involving the ability to work cross-functionally to understand requirements
  • Familiarity in protective relaying, control, EMS/RTU, telecom and/or metering preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite required
  • Valid driver's license required

Salary

$60,406.00 - $71,703.00 a year

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
