Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving profitable growth? We're seeking a Commercial Manager (Optical Networks) to join our team and lead the development and implementation of our commercial strategy. In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting and executing pricing models, ensuring commercial discipline, and maximizing the value capture of our technologies and services. You'll provide guidance and support to our Sales and Pricing Specialists, equipping them with the tools and insights they need to succeed. We're looking for someone who can analyze market trends, understand competitor behavior, and translate those insights into actionable strategies that drive long-term profitability.   • Commercial Strategy: Assess and roll out Pricing Guidelines and structured commercial approach across ON in accordance with portfolio evolution.
  • Work closely & supporting Business Division and Business Centers with best commercial practices & prioritizing business requirements.
  • GTM scenarios for specific requirements both with ON & inter-BD/BG.
  • Support pricing optimisation & monetisation guidelines example licensing strategies.
  • Maintain Commercial competitive intelligence basis market know-how & inputs from various teams.
  • Automation & Analytics: Drive these activities for above topics to improve efficiencies.



You have:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in engineering. MBA desirable
  • Business development & commercial support experience (10+ years) esp on Optical product & solutions
  • Exposure of working on high value complex deals
  • Understanding of Optical network architectures and related commercial drivers.
  • Polished, refined, confident and charismatic interpersonal skills, with experience in presenting to C level internal and external stakeholders.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Knowledge of other technologies esp IP & FN portfolio so to be able to look across NI for synergies. Recognition as an external thought leader within a strategic function or organizational unit.
