Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager with a strong technical background and robust skills leading complex projects to join our dynamic, collaborative team. This role is uniquely designed for an individual who not only possesses deep technical expertise in healthcare data infrastructure, EMR platforms, and patient engagement tools (i.e., care management), but also excels in managing complex projects that cross multiple business units. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the project lifecycle associated with implementing new vendor resources and engaging current and prospective customers, ensuring the timely completion of tasks, and providing technical insights to drive successful system builds and data integration.


Key Responsibilities
Technical Subject Matter Expertise:

  • Determine current and future client needs to develop system requirements and build out the system accordingly.
  • Define data dimensions, access requirements, and data transmission protocols.
  • Document decisions impacting the system build and the rationale behind those decisions.
  • Analyze data sources to ensure accurate population inclusions in the systems.
  • Provide metrics and analyses to validate and compare data between systems.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the system architecture and proposed solutions align with business requirements and industry standards.


Client and Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications and data infrastructure.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries and project-related communications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality solutions that meet or exceed expectations.


Project Management:

  • Review and tracks technical issues to ensure data accuracy and integrity, coordinating with cross-functional teams to timely resolution.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Support project meetings and monitor project progress/milestones.



Platform/Analytics Support:



  • Connect clinical and data management teams to create reporting capabilities and establish / and optimize workflows for clinical applications.
  • Support reporting tools and capabilities needed to measure performance and assess value impact of clinical activities.
  • Ensure data integrity and complete user acceptance testing during implementation of non-clinical platform applications as well as application optimization.
  • Facilitate establishment of analytics standards grounded in industry leading practices/methodologies and system-defined strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate and lead regular touch points with vendors and customers, including project kick-offs, status updates, and retrospectives, to support issue management, identify key use cases, and foster collaboration across teams.
  • Develop communication materials (e.g., Gantt charts) and establish processes and infrastructure to align technical strategic priorities and operating models with Populance growth and analytic goals.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role associated data management and leading complex projects.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in system architecture, data integration, and analytics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with healthcare data systems and analytics.
  • Experience working with Epic EHR platform and associated add-ons (Compass Rose, Payer Platform)
  • Knowledge of MedInsight, Arcadia or similar data analysis platforms.
  • Familiarity with payer reports and healthcare metrics.
  • Experience in documenting technical specifications and system requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent projects.
  • Experience working in client-facing roles, including facilitating discovery meetings, negotiating build specifications, and guiding strategic decisions.
